I miss the little things from the old GTA games

Been replaying Vice City and San Andreas while we wait for November, and man, it's the small stuff that really made those worlds feel alive. Not the big set pieces or the story beats, but the random details you'd stumble into without even looking.

Like, remember how many interiors San Andreas had? You could walk into a random diner, a bar, a gym, a police station. It wasn't just a door texture, you could actually go inside and mess around. Vice City had that too, but SA took it to another level. And the NPCs actually felt like they had a pulse. They'd react to you, start fights, say weird stuff. GTA V's NPCs are fine, but they don't have that same chaotic energy.

I'm not even talking about big features. Just the little secrets. Hidden packages, rampages, unique stunt jumps that weren't marked on the map. You'd find a chainsaw in a bathroom and just laugh. Or you'd be exploring and suddenly there's a body armor pickup in some alley. The world felt dense with that stuff.

GTA IV's physics were another thing. The way cars handled, the way NPCs would stumble and grab onto things. It was janky but in the best way. You could spend hours just messing with the euphoria engine. GTA V toned that down a lot, and I'm hoping VI brings some of that weightiness back.

For me, the one thing I need is more interiors. Hidden ones. Not just shops you can rob, but random apartments, warehouses, back rooms. Places that exist just to make the world feel real. That's the kind of detail that turns a map into a place you want to live in.
