I can see why this would set him off. A promise like that on a stream with a huge audience isn't a small thing. The kid probably watched that clip over and over. Then nothing. When someone like Fonteno says he's done, it's not nothing.

If you promise a kid something in front of a huge audience, you follow through. That's the whole deal. I once forgot a promise to get my son a new controller and he brought it up daily for a month. Kids don't forget this stuff. Good on Fonteno for saying it out loud.

ok so not GTA 6 related but franklin's voice actor calling out a streamer over a broken promise kinda rules. you don't dangle a motorcycle in front of a struggling kid for content and then just never follow up, that's a clip that lives forever.
