anyone else going straight from san andreas to gta 6?

Last GTA I actually finished was San Andreas on PS2. I was 15 or 16, sitting in my childhood bedroom, getting told off for playing too late at night. Then I just skipped IV and V completely. No real reason, life got in the way.

Now I'm 37, own a house, have two young kids, and I bought a PS5 specifically for GTA 6. It's weird to think I'm going straight from CJ and Grove Street to Lucia and Jason in Leonida. I missed two whole decades of GTA while everything else was happening.

I have no frame of reference for what IV and V changed. So the leap from San Andreas to this is going to feel massive. I'm not even sure what to expect beyond the trailers. Part of me is glad I skipped them, the jump might be more fun that way.

Anyone else coming back from the PS2 days, and what was your life like the last time you played compared to now?
