some of you need to hear this: stop edging yourselves over marketing silence

I've been lurking here for years and the cycle is always the same. Rockstar goes quiet, people start spiraling, and suddenly every day without a tweet is a personal attack. It's exhausting.

They never promised us a summer blowout. They never said "trailer 3 drops in August." We got a ton of info last month, screenshots, details about Leonida, and the release date is literally November 19th. That's three and a half months away. Yet half the sub is acting like we're in a drought.

I get it, the hype is real. I'm counting down the days too. But the constant doomposting and "Rockstar hates us" threads are just people working themselves into a frenzy over nothing. The marketing will ramp up when it ramps up. And when it does, everyone who's been losing their minds will be right back to losing their minds in a good way, forgetting they ever complained.

Go outside. Play something else. Touch grass. The game isn't going anywhere and a few quiet weeks in August won't kill the launch. If anything, the silence means they're heads-down polishing, which is exactly what we want.

I'm just waiting for them to drop footage of the LSPD tactical response unit. Still frames don't show loadouts or pursuit doctrine. I'd rather they stay quiet and nail the AI behavior than drop another cinematic cut of Lucia walking on the beach. The silence doesn't bother me. I want clean takedown mechanics and proper felony stop procedures.

It's fine by me. We already saw Grassrivers and Mount Kalaga in the same state. (Los Santos never put swamp and alpine peaks that close on the compass.) I just want to see how far north the Leonida Keys extend. Another trailer can wait.

Between the kids and work I'm lucky to finish a mission a night. Let them stay quiet and polish.

ngl i still haven't played gta v all the way through. my roommate keeps telling me i need to finish it before november but i'm out here trying to afford the standard edition. this silence is helping my wallet recover lol
