rockstar north pole team hasn't done a thing for christmas, what are they even doing?
I know we joke about the marketing silence but this is getting ridiculous. The Rockstar North Pole team is supposed to be handling the biggest holiday of the year and they've given us absolutely nothing. No TV spots, no teaser for the gifts I'm gonna unwrap, not a single Coca-Cola truck sighting. I haven't even seen an elf near a shelf, and we're what, a few months out from the big day?
You'd think with their track record they'd have this locked down, but it's like they're allergic to building hype. The Reddit community could run circles around them. We've got better ideas, better timing, and we actually understand what gets people excited. Meanwhile the North Pole team is just sitting on a mountain of potential, probably arguing about whether the wrapping paper should be matte or glossy.
I'm not saying I could do their job, but I could definitely do their job better. At least I'd drop a screenshot of a half-built toy or something. Anything to keep the believers engaged. Right now it feels like they're coasting on brand loyalty and that's a dangerous game when you're competing with every other holiday for attention.
Do they even have a marketing plan, or are we just supposed to trust that Santa will deliver on time like always?

Man if Rockstar ran a tuning shop they'd still be "sourcing" that LS crate two years later. ZERO updates. No tracking number. Just vibes and a half-built shell collecting dust. You'd be sitting on a stack of coilovers with nobody to install em.
At least my nightclub still generates $50K an hour while I'm AFK. Rockstar North Pole pulling $0 profit-per-hour.
Back in '04 we'd get magazine drops and fresh screens without begging. Now it's just static and shelf elves.
We're four months out and I still don't have a clean read on pursuit protocols. No confirmed patrol loadouts. No footage of how the wanted system handles the Grassrivers marsh terrain. It's like running a stakeout with zero intel.
Rockstar's holding their cards so tight I'm starting to think the precinct budget got cut. I've got my Ultimate Edition locked in but I'm flying blind on whether we're getting proper felony stops or just recycled traffic stop animations.
static and shelf elves
Exactly. Drop us a tactical brief. Even one screenshot of Lucia in a standoff would do more than six months of radio silence.
I've been counting what we actually have. Two trailers, Dec 2023 and May 2025. Two confirmed protagonists, Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval. Six locations on the map from Vice City to Mount Kalaga. Pre-orders opened June 25, so that's twenty-four days of silence since the Standard Edition locked in at $79.99 and the Ultimate at $99.99. One named bonus item, the Vintage Vice City Pack.
Still no Trailer 3. No TV spots. No patrol boat timestamp to log.

At least the elves had a SKU list. We're running on two trailers and a price sheet. Inventory's thin.
