the drip feed is finally ending, and I can't believe we're almost there

I've been staring at that countdown on my phone like a maniac. Years of nothing, then a trailer, then more nothing, and now we're actually getting an extended look in a few weeks. It's surreal.

Rockstar's been holding back so much. You can feel it. Every tiny screenshot or vague Zelnick quote felt like they were just teasing us, but now the floodgates are about to open. The talent at that studio is on another level and they've been sitting on this thing, polishing it to death while we argued over pixelated leaks and fake maps.

I know some people are burned out from the silence, but I'm the opposite. The closer we get, the more I remember why I've been waiting since I was basically a kid. This is the biggest entertainment launch ever, and we're going to see it properly for the first time. The extended look is going to be insane, and then it's just three months until we're actually playing it. Three months. After all the delays and rumors and that weird Netflix deal, we're finally at the finish line.

I don't even care about the $80 price tag anymore. Just let me preload and lock myself in my apartment for a week.
