the extended look screenshots are genuinely stunning

Went back through the extended look frame by frame and saved a bunch of shots that just hit different. I'm not usually one to post screenshot threads but the art direction in this game is something else.

The color palette and lighting work together in a way I don't think I've seen from Rockstar before. Vice City at golden hour looks unreal, and the neon at night has this glow that feels warm instead of harsh. Textures are sharp too, little details like worn paint and wet asphalt keep catching my eye.

Every frame looks deliberate. It's not just a technical flex, the whole thing feels cohesive. The way the sky changes, the reflections on cars, the density of the foliage in Grassrivers. I kept pausing to zoom in on random stuff.

I added notes to each screenshot about what stood out to me most. Some of it is obvious, like the lighting on Lucia's face in that one scene, but there's also small stuff like the rust patterns on a dumpster that most people probably scrolled past.

Anyway, if you haven't gone back through the extended look slowly, do it. It's worth it. Rockstar's art team cooked. November can't come soon enough.

Did the same pass. Ended up with 214 saved frames, most of them night shots. The wet asphalt reflections are doing a lot of work.
