Daughter makes emotional plea to Rockstar so terminally ill dad can play GTA 6

Saw this on Dexerto, a daughter posted on Reddit hoping someone at Rockstar sees it. Her dad is terminally ill and she's asking for an early copy of GTA 6 so he can play it. That's the whole ask.

I know Rockstar doesn't usually do this kind of thing, they're locked down about pre-release access. But every once in a while a story like this gets enough traction that someone at the company actually notices. The game's still two months out and the hype is insane, so I can't imagine being in that spot where you're not sure you'll make it to launch day.

If this picks up on the subreddit, maybe it gets to the right person. Rockstar's community team does lurk, they've responded to fan stuff before. Not saying they'll hand over a build, but a signed collector's edition or something would at least be a nice gesture. The family isn't asking for free stuff, just a chance to play early.

Anyway, figured I'd share since the community can sometimes move mountains when it wants to. If you see the original post, upvote it. Worst case, the dad gets a bunch of supportive messages while he waits. Best case, someone at Rockstar makes a call.

Man, two months is nothing for most of us and everything here. Really hope it reaches the right desk. He's clearly still itching to roam somewhere new, and Leonida's got a lot of road worth driving. First thing I'd show him is the causeway south out of Vice City toward the Keys.
