the long road fan documentary trailer is out and it's making me weirdly nostalgic

Stumbled on this earlier. Dark Space put out the trailer for The Long Road, an independent Rockstar documentary. Not official, just fans putting together the story of the studio.

The doc covers the games, the controversies, the moments that made Rockstar what it is. And it's told by fans, for fans. That part got me. We've all lived through different chunks of this history, so seeing it stitched together hits different.

With GTA VI coming November 19, the timing is almost too good. The trailer leans into that long wait, the buildup, everything that led to Leonida. It doesn't try to be a Rockstar production. That's fine. Sometimes the fan perspective is the one that actually captures why we care.

I'm curious how honest they'll get about the rough patches. Rockstar's story has plenty of them, and a fan doc can either sand them down or dig in. Either way, I'll give it a watch.

Which era of Rockstar do you hope they spend the most time on?
