the gameplay trailer is gonna feel like a fever dream when it finally drops
Rockstar's discipline with keeping things under wraps is honestly wild. Any other studio would've shown so much by now that we'd basically know the whole game. And I kinda love that we don't. It makes the wait for the gameplay trailer feel like something bigger, almost mythical.
I keep thinking about Jodorowsky's Dune, that movie that never got made but lives on in people's heads as this perfect thing. Except we're actually gonna get the real deal. After all these years of imagining what GTA 6 plays like, we're about to see it. That's surreal.
Like, I've been picturing it since 2013. The jump from V to VI. The new animations, the world density, the way Lucia and Jason move. And now we're months away from actually watching it. Not a concept, not a leak, but Rockstar showing us exactly what they've built. It's gonna feel bizarre, like a dream you're not sure you're actually having.
What's the one thing you're most nervous to see in the gameplay reveal? Something that could make or break the vibe for you?

im mostly stressed about how the interaction wheel and player states look. in fivem everything lives or dies by how smooth picking items, entering vehicles, and combat toggles feel. if the base game animations are too locked or the menu bloats up, thats months of framework headaches before servers feel good. hope they kept it snappy for RP.

I'm less worried about menus and more about mission rigidity. GTA V's heists looked amazing but too many missions forced you down a single corridor. I'm hoping VI gives us multiple approach vectors like Three Leaf Clover or The Paleto Score. Let me actually plan the route instead of following checkpoint breadcrumbs.
I'm still chasing that Tom Petty needle drop from Trailer 1. Here's hoping Flash FM makes a comeback for the gameplay reveal!
multiple approach vectors
Sure, but show me the payout tables. If stealth pays half the loud route, I'm kicking in the front door every time.
