GTA 5's curated radio stations were a goldmine, I can't wait to see what Rockstar does with Vice City's airwaves

I still remember the first time I heard 'Sleepwalking' by The Chain Gang of 1974 on Radio Mirror Park. Never would've stumbled on that track otherwise. That's the thing about GTA radio — when they let real DJs and artists curate the stations, you end up with this weird, perfect mix that feels like an actual place. WorldWide FM, FlyLo, Blonded, iFruit Radio... each one had a personality. I'm still finding new stuff in those playlists years later.

So yeah, I'm unreasonably excited about what they're cooking up for Leonida. The few tracks they've officially confirmed are already stuck in my head. If the rest of the soundtrack is anywhere near that level, we're in for a treat. Vice City's whole vibe demands a killer radio lineup — it's practically a character in the original game.

One thing I really hope they add: let us play music from the phone. Not just in cars. Give Lucia and Jason some earbuds or a bluetooth speaker so the radio follows you on foot. It'd make those long walks through the Grassrivers or the Keys feel way more immersive. Maybe even a streaming app on the in-game phone that pulls from the same stations. Rockstar's already got the tech for it with the media player in GTA Online, so it doesn't feel like a huge stretch.

Also, the talk radio and ads. I need that unhinged Vice City energy back. The satire in GTA 5 was sharp, but Vice City's radio had this sleazy, neon-drenched charm that I'm hoping they channel again. If they get some real Miami DJs involved, that'd be the cherry on top.

November can't get here fast enough. I'm probably gonna spend the first few hours just cycling through stations and cruising Ocean Beach.

Radio Mirror Park introduced me to so much good stuff here in Brazil. Leonida's coast reminds me of home, so I'm hoping the stations slap just as hard.
