It just hit me: we're playing GTA 6 this year
I know we've all been joking about GTA 6 being a myth, but it just hit me: we're actually playing it this year. November 19, 2026. That's not some distant dream anymore, it's a few months away. I keep thinking about how I'll be sitting there with the controller in my hand, and the wait will finally be over.
We've been through the drought, the radio silence, the endless speculation. But soon we'll be flooded with gameplay videos, reviews, and that first moment when the map opens up. Remember how it felt with GTA V? Or RDR2? This is going to be that, but bigger. Way bigger.
I don't care that we haven't gotten a third trailer. I don't care that marketing has been weird. The disc is gonna be in my PS5 (or downloaded) before we know it. We're closer to launch than we are to the first trailer. That's insane to think about.
What's the first thing you're doing when you finally get control of Lucia or Jason? I'm probably just gonna walk around Vice Beach for an hour and let it all sink in.

same. im not even touching the story first. gonna load in and test the walk cycle, see if idle animations are clean for RP. if the character creator slaps, RP communities are gonna explode day one.
test the walk cycle
nah fam I'm boosting a beater and seeing what the mod shop offers. need to check the body kit game and if we can slam ride height. DEEP customization or bust. walking is for later.
ngl i had to google what RP meant cause im that new but fr $79.99 is gonna turn my wallet into a ghost. im probably just gonna steal a scooter and crash into the ocean for an hour
Man, reading this gave me chills.

That line hit hard. Here in Brazil November is basically summer already, so it's the perfect mood for Leonida. The coast in trailer 2 remind me of Rio beaches, the color of water and that heat vibe.
Price is crazy though. Here in Brazil the Standard Edition hits different on the wallet, but I didn't wait. It's too good to miss that Vintage Vice City Pack.
First thing, I'm not touching story right away. I want to take Lucia to Vice Beach and just watch the people, see if the NPCs feel alive. Then maybe find some old beater and drive slow with windows down. No rush.

Hard to argue with that. I'm not touching story until I've driven the full loop from Vice Beach north through Port Gellhorn and down through the Grassrivers. (Need to see if Leonida feels as dense as Los Santos or if it's spread thin.) Then I'm checking Mount Kalaga's eastern ridge for hidden overlooks.
