what would ruin gta 6 for me: gas every five minutes and a map that feels small
There's a thread on the GTA 6 sub asking what would ruin the game for you, and I've been thinking about it all morning. For me it's hyperrealism, but not the kind people usually mean. I'm fine with limited weapon carry or more deliberate movement. What I don't want is my car needing gas every five minutes because I'm speeding. That sounds cool on paper, but after the tenth time you're stranded on a highway in the Keys, it stops being immersive and starts being a chore.
The map is the other thing. I was never a huge fan of GTA V's map. Los Santos felt like it could have been bigger, or at least matched San Andreas with multiple proper cities. I get the hardware limits back then, but it still left me wanting more. With GTA 6 though, I'm less worried. From what we've seen, Leonida has Vice City, Port Gellhorn, the Keys, Grassrivers, all these distinct areas. That's already more variety than V gave us, so maybe the map concern is overblown.
Anyway, that's my list. Fuel every five minutes would drive me nuts, but I think Rockstar knows better than to make us stop at gas stations constantly. The map stuff I'm less concerned about after seeing how many distinct areas they've shown.

gas every five minutes
rp servers already run fuel scripts and theyre annoying as hell. dont need rockstar making it vanilla too.
