I was just reading about how the next few months on PS5 are gonna be insane, and honestly it all traces back to one game. Everyone's trying to get their stuff out before November 19.

We're already in August and the pre-GTA 6 avalanche is real. Publishers know that once Rockstar's marketing machine kicks into high gear and the review cycle starts, nothing else is getting attention. So they're cramming everything into this window.

I can't remember the last time a single game's release date made the entire industry shuffle like this. It's not just other big AAA titles either, indies are moving their dates, DLC drops are getting pushed forward. Everyone wants a clear runway before Leonida takes over.

My backlog is already crying. There's stuff I've been meaning to play for months and now I'm looking at this fall lineup thinking I might have to pick just one or two before GTA 6 consumes my life. And I know I'm not alone.

What's your plan for the next few months? Are you even bothering with other games or just saving your energy for Vice City?
