GTA 6 lead says Rockstar president Sam Houser is involved in every aspect of creative development

Saw GamesRadar's piece on this and it's the kind of thing I've been wondering about for a while.

The lead on GTA 6 apparently said Sam Houser is involved in every aspect of the creative side, from the broad direction down to the details. The piece calls out the rumor that he's basically a 'taste director' at this point, just there to nod along, and says that's bunk.

I always figured someone like Houser would still have his hands all over the story and tone, but it's interesting to see it confirmed so directly. There's been a lot of talk over the years about how Rockstar's leadership works and whether the top guys still get hands on with each project. Some people assumed Sam stepped back and let the newer leads run things. If this is accurate, that's not really the case for GTA 6.

Makes me wonder how much of the game's feel comes straight from him. The satirical radio ads, the way missions flow, the little details that make the world feel alive. If he's in every creative meeting, then the whole project probably has a very specific voice. That could be great or it could mean less room for fresh ideas.

What do you all think? Is having Sam Houser that deep in the process a good thing for GTA 6, or do you worry it makes the game too much about one person's taste?
