So Bulkhead Studio, the WARDOGS devs, are shutting the whole thing down for December. CEO came out and said they need a month to detox from development, and his advice to fans? Go play GTA. That's the quote. Not even joking.

I get it though. GTA 6 drops November 19, everyone and their mother is going to be in Leonida for weeks. A small studio taking a break right after launch is probably smart. Let their players go do that, come back refreshed in January. But it's still funny to see another studio's CEO basically waving people over to Rockstar's game.

WARDOGS is a multiplayer shooter thing, right? Never really followed it closely. But if the CEO is openly telling his community to go play GTA instead of his own game for a month, that says something about where the entire industry's attention is right now. Can't blame him.

Also, the timing. They're taking December off. GTA 6 comes out November 19. So the first two weeks everyone's grinding, then Bulkhead is like "alright, we're out, go have fun." Kind of perfect.

I don't think this is a dig at Rockstar or anything, just a realistic move. A month-long studio break during the biggest game launch of the decade, tell your fans to go play that instead of complaining about your own game being quiet. Respect.

Anyway, less than three weeks now. If a rival studio CEO is telling people to play GTA, you know it's about to be everywhere.
