NBA 2K27 Teases GTA 6 Crossover Of Some Kind

2K dropped the Season 1 trailer for NBA 2K27 today and it's not just about basketball. They teased Seasons 2 and 3 too, and Season 3's imagery is basically a GTA 6 homage. Palm trees, that specific font, the color scheme, even police sirens in the background. It's not subtle at all.

Season 2 starts October 16. If seasons run about the same length as previous years, Season 3 would kick off late November. GTA 6 drops November 19. That timing feels way too clean to be a coincidence.

Take-Two owns both Rockstar and 2K, so a crossover makes sense from a business angle. They've done cross-promo stuff before, but this is the first time I can remember a 2K game leaning this hard into GTA imagery. The trailer doesn't say what the crossover actually is though. Could be cosmetics, a themed event, maybe even a shared marketing push. Nobody knows yet.

There's also the fact that basketball has been floating around GTA 6 discussions for a while. I won't get into specifics, but let's just say people have been speculating about hoops being a minigame in Vice City for a minute. If that ends up being real, this crossover would make even more sense.
