Insider Gaming dropped a little nugget from the previews. Rob Nelson apparently did an 80 hour run back in February. That's the number being floated for how long GTA 6 might take to complete.

Eighty hours. I'm still processing that. GTA 5's story was nowhere near that long for me, even with side stuff. This would be double, easy. And that's before you even touch the online side or whatever post launch stuff they have planned.

I know some people are gonna say 80 hours is too long, that Rockstar is padding it. But after waiting this long, I want a game I can sink my teeth into. Vice City and Leonida look massive. If the story actually uses all that space, 80 hours might fly by.

Also worth noting this is just one playthrough. Nelson probably knows the game inside out, so a normal player might take longer. Or shorter if you rush. Who knows.

What do you all think? Is 80 hours the sweet spot or are you already dreading the grind?

80 hours for the main arc. thats enough time to run two serious RP characters before public servers even open.
