GameSpot put up a roundup of everything they caught in the Extended Look, and a few of these details are going to keep me up until November.
- Dog interactions: You can pet dogs, but there's also a prompt to scold them. I'm never pressing that button.
- Six-star wanted levels: They're back after being gone in GTA 5. The stars show little icons for the specific crimes you've been caught doing.
- Playthrough length: Rob Nelson said his run was around 80 hours, mostly main story and narrative side content. That's a lot of Vice City.
- Map size: The map is three times bigger than Red Dead Redemption 2's. I need to see the full thing.
- Story focus: The core is the relationship between Lucia and Jason, but they don't have to be a romantic couple. You can keep them platonic partners if you want.
- Criminal Profile system: There's a Red Dead style honor system that tracks how violent you are. Sounds like it'll change how NPCs react to you.
I'm still processing the map being 3x RDR2. That game already felt massive, and now we're getting triple that with modern density. The six-star wanted thing is interesting too, I wonder if the military comes back at max level like the old games.
Which of these details has you most hyped, or is there something from the Extended Look you think GameSpot missed?
