GTA 6 PS5 Gameplay Coming This Month, Here's When to See It First on Netflix

Finally, something concrete. Rockstar just dropped that they're doing an official extended gameplay look for GTA 6 later this month, and it's coming through Netflix of all places. August 27th, mark it down.

I was starting to think we wouldn't see anything until the fall, but here we are. The announcement itself is pretty bare bones, just a short post saying they'll be showing off more of the game. No word on how long it'll be or exactly what they're covering, but "extended look" sounds promising. Maybe we'll finally get a proper walkthrough of some of the open world, or a deeper dive into how Lucia and Jason's dual protagonist system works in practice.

The Netflix part is interesting. Rockstar's been doing their own thing with trailers for a while now, so partnering with a streaming platform for a gameplay reveal feels like a shift. Could be a one-off, or maybe they're trying to reach a wider audience ahead of launch. Either way, I'm just glad we're getting something beyond the two trailers we've had so far.

November 19th is still a few months out, but this should give us a much better sense of what Leonida actually looks like in motion. I'm hoping they show some of the smaller towns like Port Gellhorn or Grassrivers, not just Vice City itself. And please, let there be some actual gameplay systems on display, not just a cinematic montage.
