Checked the new store page this morning and it's actually live. Rockstar finally opened an official GTA 6 merch store, and the first collection they're showing off is GTA IV stuff. Kind of a left turn when we're a month out from Leonida, but I guess they want to cycle through older games too.

The article didn't break down what's in the collection, so I can't tell you if it's shirts, hoodies, or some weird Niko Bellic statue. I'm hoping it's not just the same old logo slapped on a black tee. Rockstar's merch has always been hit or miss for me, the Vice City anniversary stuff a few years back was decent though.

What gets me is the timing. We've got pre-orders open since June and the Ultimate Edition sitting at $99.99, and now they want more of my money for physical gear. I'd rather see a proper Vice City collection first, give me a Pastel Suit or a Malibu Club cap. GTA IV nostalgia is fine but I'm not trying to rep Liberty City when the whole community is counting down to Leonida.

Still, an official store means they're finally ramping up the merch machine, which usually comes with more drops as launch gets closer. I'll keep an eye on it but my wallet's already crying from the Ultimate Edition.
