GTA 6 In-Game Radio Stations Announced, and You Can Preview Them Right Now

Rockstar just put up a new post on the newswire about GTA 6 radio and I'm already making a playlist. They're calling it the biggest and widest ranging selection of in-game radio they've ever done, which is a pretty bold claim given how iconic the Vice City and San Andreas soundtracks were.

They've unveiled six stations so far. I won't list them all here because the post is worth checking out yourself, but the previews are live on the official site right now. You can actually listen to them, which is a nice change from just reading a tracklist.

What's got me excited is that they're framing this as the biggest selection yet. GTA 5 had something like 20 stations across all the updates, and the original Vice City had maybe 10. If they're saying this is bigger and wider, I'm hoping they mean both the number of stations and the range of genres. Vice City nailed the 80s thing, but Leonida is a whole state now, so there's room for Miami bass, country, Latin trap, classic rock, maybe some of that Florida death metal scene. The source doesn't go into specific genres, but the wording makes me think they're spreading it out.

I also like that they're letting us preview them before launch. Rockstar usually keeps this stuff locked until the game drops, or they drip feed it through a trailer. Getting actual audio from six stations this early feels like they know the radio is a big part of the experience and they want people talking about it.

Anyone else planning to spend their first hour in Leonida just driving around and cycling through stations? Or is there a specific genre or artist you're hoping shows up in the full list?
