rockstar just dropped a load of new gta 6 details before the netflix extended look tonight
VGC has a piece up saying Rockstar revealed a swathe of new GTA 6 details ahead of the Netflix Extended Look. I'm still going through it but figured I'd post here since the extended look is literally today.
Netflix gets it first at 3pm ET, then it hits YouTube and rockstargames.com at 9pm ET. So we've got a few hours to kill. Perfect time to dig into whatever new info they put out.
I'm not gonna spoil anything from the article in case people want to read it themselves, but it sounds like they're finally opening up about some of the systems and world stuff. We already know about the pre-order bonuses and the two editions, but this feels like actual meaty details rather than just marketing fluff.
Honestly the timing is smart. Drop a bunch of info right before the extended look so everyone's already hyped, then the video lands and blows our minds. Rockstar knows what they're doing.
I'll update this thread once I finish the article and the extended look airs. For now, go read it if you want, but be careful about spoilers if you're trying to go in fresh for tonight.
Either way, November 19 can't come soon enough.

Rockstar knows what they're doing
They know how to sell hype. I'll wait for November 19.
I'm old enough to remember the GTA IV marketing blitz. This feels about the same. I'll read the VGC piece later when the kids are in bed.
NoHypeZone has a point.
They know how to sell hype.
They do. But after twenty plus years of these launches I just want to know if the driving still feels like driving and not skating. And if I can lose a whole Sunday in singleplayer without some always-online nag screen.
3pm is right when I'm picking up my youngest so Netflix is out. I'll catch the 9pm drop if I can keep my eyes open. Either way November is going to eat whatever free time I've got left.
I'm hoping tonight's footage shows some actual chemistry between Lucia and Jason instead of just pretty Leonida sunsets.
