netflix went down right as the gta 6 extended look started and i'm so annoyed

I had the countdown going, Netflix open, everything ready. 3pm hits and the app just spins. Then an error. Then it kicks me back to the home screen. I try again, same thing. Check Twitter and it's not just me, half the internet is getting the same error.
Rockstar decided to put the extended look on Netflix first before YouTube, which was already a weird call. But fine, I was on board. Then Netflix can't handle the load. Millions of people trying to watch at once and the whole thing falls over.
I ended up waiting for the YouTube upload at 9pm. By then the moment was kind of gone. Everyone was already talking about it, spoilers everywhere, and I'm just sitting there trying to avoid my phone.
It's frustrating because this was supposed to be the big reveal. Rockstar hyped it up, Netflix got the exclusive window, and then the platform just couldn't deliver. I get that traffic spikes are hard, but this is GTA 6. You knew it was coming.
Did anyone actually get it to work on Netflix or was it a total wash for everyone?

ok so i actually got in for maybe thirty seconds before the app crashed and honestly that almost made it worse. the six hour exclusive window always felt like a weird flex and this just proved why. hope they learned something for next time but who knows.
Six-hour exclusive window has awful profit-per-hour. That's two Cayo cooldowns and a nightclub cycle completely wasted.
Exclusive windows only work when the projector actually runs.

Exactly. You can't build cinematic momentum when half the audience is stuck in the lobby refreshing their phone. Should've just let everyone in for the same showing.
