Honestly the load time improvement alone is worth it — I've been running around Los Santos on PS5 and the pop-in is drastically reduced. You can actually see the Vinewood sign from distance without it flickering into existence like on old gen. The draw distance on the Palomino Highlands looking back toward the city? Night and day.

That said, I'm more interested in what this means for VI's map scope. If they're getting everyone onto current gen hardware, they're not bottlenecked by last-gen memory limits anymore. Los Santos was already pushing PS3/360 hard. Whatever they're building next could be massive.

Brutal is underselling it. I timed 6+ minutes loading into online on PS4. PS5? Under a minute. Actually makes exploring feasible again.

Honestly the load times alone are worth it — getting into LS Customs without staring at a loading screen for three years? Sign me up.
