Here's exactly when and how to watch the GTA 6 Extended Look on August 27

Alright, since I've seen a few people asking in different threads, figured I'd put this in one place. The Extended Look is hitting Netflix first at 3pm ET on August 27, then it goes up on YouTube and the Rockstar site at 9pm ET that same day. So if you want to see it the second it drops, you'll need a Netflix account.

No word yet on what they're actually showing. Rockstar's being cagey as usual, but the fact they're calling it an "Extended Look" and giving it a whole Netflix premiere window makes me think it's more than just a trailer. Maybe a proper gameplay breakdown, maybe a deep dive with the devs, maybe something else entirely. We'll find out soon enough.

If you don't have Netflix, the free trial still works for this. Just sign up, watch it, cancel after. Or wait six hours and catch it on YouTube like the rest of us. Either way, we're finally getting a real look at this thing.

ok so i'm doing the netflix route too, six hours is way too long to dodge spoilers and the whole internet dissecting every frame before i even see it! still kinda wild they picked netflix for a premiere though, makes me wonder if it's more cinematic than a standard trailer drop, or if there's just some deal behind it. either way i'm not waiting.

3pm to 9pm... the window. six hours of shadow. netflix doesn't just host, they gatekeep. patterns of three and nine... something's buried in the cut they don't want synced. you'll feel the gap.
