GTA 6 lead channels the spirit of Skyrim-era Todd Howard: "You can go anywhere, any random location"

Saw the GamesRadar piece earlier and that quote from Rockstar's lead got me hyped all over again. Something about how you can go anywhere, any random location, and the comparison to Skyrim-era Todd Howard. I know that gets tossed around a lot but hearing it from someone actually working on GTA 6 hits different.

The part that really stuck with me though is the claim about interiors. An order of magnitude more than previous GTA games. Think about what that means for a second. GTA 5 had what, a handful of buildings you could actually walk into? San Andreas had more but most were copy-paste barber shops and pizza places. If GTA 6 really has ten times as many unique interiors as something like RDR2 or GTA 5, that changes how you explore the whole map.

I keep picturing wandering into some random gas station in Port Gellhorn, or a diner off the highway in Grassrivers, and the door actually opens. Then there's a back room, a bathroom, maybe a basement. Not just a single room with a register. That's the Skyrim thing he's talking about. In Skyrim you could stumble into any cave or shack and find a whole little story tucked away. If Leonida is built like that, I'm never finishing the main story.

Also makes me wonder how many of these interiors are tied to missions versus just there for the hell of it. Rockstar is usually pretty deliberate, so maybe some of them are hiding side content or random events. But even if they're empty, just being able to duck into a random house during a police chase would be huge. GTA 5 always felt so flat in that regard, everything was a locked door.

What random location in Leonida are you checking first once we're actually in the game?
