Shark cards didn't kill GTA Online overnight — but GTA 6 Online will be built to bleed us from day one

GTA Online's economy didn't collapse in a day. It was a slow, deliberate inflation. Shark cards didn't ruin it instantly; they just made grinding feel pointless over time. Now, with GTA 6 Online, Rockstar won't need to slowly introduce the rot. They'll design the entire progression around monetization from the start.
- Heist payouts will be mathematically tuned to push microtransactions. Base payouts will be just low enough that buying the new property or vehicle requires either a second job or a shark card. The numbers will be precise.
- Loadouts and role assignments will be gated. Want the best comms gear for silent approach, or the optimal weapon for a specific job? That'll be behind a paywall or a brutal grind. Efficiency will cost real money.
- Pre-order conditioning is already live. The Ultimate Edition and Vintage Vice City Pack aren't just bonuses. They're priming us to pay extra for a head start. The psychological hook is set before we even install.
Most of us will pay anyway. I'll grab the Ultimate Edition. I'll probably drop cash on shark card equivalents when a new heist drops and I don't have time to grind. The cycle continues.
Prove me wrong. How does Rockstar avoid turning GTA 6 Online into a monetization engine from day one?

I paid for Ultimate Edition already, so I'm the target. Just let me cruise Leonida coast like here in Brazil, without shark cards.
