gta+ in online 2: where's the line between a vibe pass and pay-to-win?

I was daydreaming about cruising down Ocean Beach with Flash FM blasting "Billie Jean" and I realized: if GTA+ ever locked that station behind a paywall, I'd lose it! But a cosmetic battle-pass sidecar? I can live with that. Give me some exclusive Vice City Vice Squad threads, a neon car wrap, maybe a radio bumper sticker. That's just flavor.
The line for me is gated content or faster progression. The moment a new heist, a business, or a way to earn cash faster is behind GTA+, it's pay-to-win. And I don't trust Take-Two to stay behind that line. They'll dangle a new radio station, like a synthwave channel with Kavinsky needle drops, and call it "premium." That's my line. I'd rather have the whole soundtrack free for everyone, so we all get the same mood.
Where do you draw the line? Do you think they'll keep it cosmetic, or will we be paying to unlock the next Nightclub update?

Same. But "cosmetic only" is just the opening offer. They always test the water with shirts and wraps, then nudge the line toward cash multipliers and exclusive businesses once the player base is settled.
I doubt they'll lock a whole station at launch. That'd be too obvious. But a premium add-on or early access to a money maker six months in? That's the playbook. They don't sell vibes. They sell friction, then charge to remove it.
I'll eat my words if it stays limited to colors and threads. I want to be wrong. I just haven't seen a live service yet that resisted the squeeze.
