Kortz Center heist payout and solo viability — what are you guys seeing?
Insider Gaming dropped a guide on the new Kortz Center heist, breaking down the payout, setup cost, and whether you can run it solo. I've been poking around but haven't pulled the trigger on buying the planning room yet.
From what I've gathered, the setup cost isn't cheap, and the payout seems to vary a lot depending on your approach and how clean you are. I'm trying to figure out if it's worth grinding or if I should just stick to Cayo Perico for solo money. The art theft angle is cool, but if the take is mediocre after crew cuts, I might pass.
Anyone here actually run it solo yet? How's the difficulty compared to something like the Diamond Casino heist? And what's the real payout looking like after Lester's cut and all that? I've seen some early numbers floating around but nothing solid. Also curious if the preps are as tedious as the Doomsday ones.
Let's get some real player experiences in here, not just the guide estimates.

I've been holding off too. Seems like Rockstar might have tuned this toward crew play, which could be wrong, but the scaling looks off for one person.

That volatility is what's making me hesitate. Has anyone tested if the artwork physics glitch out during the escape? In the Casino heist, certain sculptures would clip through bags if you sprinted downhill. Wondering if the Kortz Center statues have similar jank. Might save time if there's a clip.
Also curious if Lester's cut is static or if it scales with difficulty. The guide says the take varies, but maybe the prep repetition is what kills the hourly rate. I'd stick with Cayo unless the numbers are solid.
Art heists are cool but where's the JDM reward car at.
the scaling looks off
Scaling don't matter if the getaway fleet is all bone stock SUVs again. Give me one ride worth an engine swap and widebody. Preps sound like a grind with zero garage payoff. Hard PASS unless the garage loot is fire.

Running solo without spotters or a bagman turns the escape into a crawl. Cayo's hourly is still unmatched.
The Kortz Center sits right on that Pacific Bluffs cliff edge (great views, terrible exfil options). Solo runners get funneled east onto West Eclipse Boulevard or south toward the golf course. Cayo gives you jungle cover and multiple compass exits. Here it's mostly open ground. I'd only run it with a driver waiting by the graveyard spawn to the southeast.
I ran it twice with my crew and once solo just to test. Solo is rough, real rough. Bag weight slows you down on those cliff stairs and guards spot you through bushes that should hide you. Ended up crawling down to golf course just like MapNerd said.
With crew of three though? Much smoother. One hacker, one bagman, one driver waiting near graveyard. Payout after cuts was around 1.4 for me, but solo I walked away with less than Cayo after all prep time. Art looks cool on wall but I'm not sure it's worth the grind if you're alone.
Maybe Rockstar finally wants us to play together instead of living on that island.
