pc gamer's 2027 list has gta 6 as a maybe and that's all we get

PC Gamer put up their 2027 new games list and GTA 6 is in there with a big maybe next to it. The entry itself is basically a shrug. They've got Fable and FF7 with actual windows and then GTA 6 just sitting there waiting for a PC date that doesn't exist yet.

I get it. Rockstar's been radio silent on the PC port since the beginning. Console launch is locked for November 19, 2026. Pre-orders have been open since June. Two trailers, an extended look, all of it console only. The fact that PC Gamer can only list it as a maybe for 2027 tells you everything about how little info we actually have.

The placeholder energy is kind of funny. The article could have just left it out but they gave it a slot anyway, like they're holding a seat at the table. If Rockstar does the usual thing we're probably looking at a year or more after console. That'd put it late 2027 at the earliest. But nobody has confirmed that, so it's just wishful thinking with a calendar attached.

I'm not expecting a PC announcement before the console launch settles. Rockstar never talks about PC early. They'll let the PS5 and Series X versions breathe first, then drop the port news when it suits them. Still, seeing it on a 2027 list makes the wait feel a little more real, even if the entry is just a joke about not having a date.

Anyone else checking that page every few weeks hoping the maybe turns into an actual quarter?
