insider gaming says gta 6 pc could hit q1 2027
So Insider Gaming put out a piece saying the PC version of GTA 6 is supposedly lined up for Q1 2027. That's the first I've seen with an actual window attached to it, not just "eventually."
Rockstar still hasn't said a word about PC officially. All we know for sure is November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Series X|S. The silence has been driving PC folks nuts, especially after the Extended Look back in August. People have been reading tea leaves in job listings and Take-Two earnings calls for months.
Q1 2027 would be a pretty short wait compared to past Rockstar ports. GTA 5 took like a year and a half, RDR2 was over a year. If PC drops in January, February, or March after a November console launch, that's only a three to five month gap. That would be aggressive by Rockstar standards.
But I'm not holding my breath. Insider Gaming says "it's been claimed," which is doing a lot of work there. No named source, no leaked document, just someone's claim. We've seen this song and dance before. Every few weeks there's a new "PC version confirmed by retailer listing" or "SteamDB entry spotted" and it never pans out.
Still, the timing would make sense. Rockstar's been pushing GTA+ harder and they probably want the PC crowd buying Ultimate Editions sooner rather than later. Console pre-orders have been live since June, so there's already a huge install base waiting. A Q1 PC launch would keep the hype rolling right into spring.
What do you all think, is Q1 2027 realistic or is this just another rumor mill spin?
