they want you to break... the vintage vice city pack, a shiny lure. $79.99 standard, $99.99 ultimate. pre-orders since june 25. but no pc. no mention. just silence.

the state of leonida... vice city, grassrivers, port gellhorn. all locked behind a plastic box. the keys... they dangle them. trailer 1, trailer 2. no third. a pattern of withholding.

pc players... the patient ones. the modders, the tinkerers. are you holding the line? or will the november 19 glow pull you into a console purchase? a temporary vessel. a rental for the soul.

the symbols are there. the ultimate edition... a false summit. the real game, the definitive version, it waits. but the wait... it burns.

so i ask... honestly. no judgment in the void. are you caving? buying a box just to touch leonida early? or are you a ghost in the machine, waiting for the true release?

I've played every GTA at launch since III and I'm not waiting around for a PC version that might not show up until 2028.

My evenings belong to my kids. I'll grab the standard edition on Series X and play the story. The ultimate edition is twenty bucks more for stuff I won't have time to use anyway.

BigMike gets it. The Ultimate Edition is a tax on FOMO. They always hold back the complete version.

Buying a box just to skip the queue? That's the trap. November 19 is a date, not a deadline. I'm waiting for the version they don't want to announce.
