got the black dualsense and it's way nicer than i expected

I know a bunch of people were lukewarm on the controller, but I was mostly just expecting scalpers to grab all of them. I wanted the black one specifically because the pink contrast looks awesome. When I saw it was a PS Direct exclusive I figured my odds were basically zero.

So I'm pretty happy they actually stocked these properly. I was half expecting to see them on eBay for triple the price by now, but it seems like Sony actually made enough. It looks super classy to me, almost like a Vice City voucher design. The molded palm trees are a nice touch, and the GTA logo is molded too instead of the usual printed game logo. You can't just UV or pad print that kind of detail. It's more custom than people give it credit for.

I don't usually go for special edition controllers. This one got me though. The black shell with the pink accents is exactly what I wanted. Anyway, November 19th can't come soon enough.

Did anyone else manage to grab one, or are you holding out for a different color?

ok so the molded logo is the part that sold me too, printed stuff peels after a year of sweaty sessions but molded is forever. funny that the first piece of GTA 6 hardware most of us own is a controller and not the actual game. two months out and i'm already just staring at it on the desk like it's gonna boot Vice City by itself.
