digital only ps5 is fine but i need remote play to work on my laptop for gta 6

Saw this take about PS5 going digital only and I'm not mad at it. I've been buying digital for years anyway, the disc drive on my PS5 has collected dust since I got it. If Rockstar wants us all digital for GTA 6, fine. I just need to know one thing before November.

Can I actually play this on my laptop through remote play and have it not feel like garbage? I don't have a console set up in my room, and I'm not about to buy a second one just for GTA 6. If Sony's remote play app works well enough over my home network, I'd rather just stream it to my PC and call it a day.

I know GTA 6 is console only at launch, no PC version announced. So for anyone without a PS5 or Xbox in their main setup, remote play is kind of the only workaround. I've used it for other games and the input lag was noticeable but not awful. For a game like GTA 6 where driving and shooting need quick reactions, I'm a little worried.

Also the part about digital payments and being able to pull your money back whenever, no questions asked. That's not how any of this works. Sony and Microsoft aren't giving you a refund button for a preorder you regret. If you buy the Ultimate Edition digitally and then change your mind, good luck. The agility to remove payments at will sounds nice but it's not a real thing.

I do think digital only is probably where consoles are headed anyway. GTA 6 is a huge install, probably needs a fast SSD, and discs are basically just license keys at this point. The Vintage Vice City Pack preorder bonus is digital too. So I'm not fighting it.

My take: if remote play holds up, I'll be fine without a console under my desk. If it doesn't, I'll be moving my PS5 into the office for launch week. Either way, I'm not missing November 19.
