Saw this on Dexerto and honestly it's the most GTA community thing I've read all week. There's a leaker going by Cyberleek who's been teasing Lucia videos, and apparently he told people he'd drop more if they protested in support of him. So one fan actually took that seriously and went to Rockstar's office with a leek. Like the vegetable. A literal leek.

I don't know if this is peak comedy or peak desperation. Probably both. The leaker's name is Cyberleek, so the fan brought a leek as some kind of sign. It's dumb but also kind of funny in a sad way. We're still months out from release and people are this hungry for any crumb of footage.

What gets me is that Rockstar already has an extended look coming on August 27. That's two days away. We're about to get official gameplay, and someone is out here waving produce at a building because a random internet person said to. The leaker probably isn't even real, or if he is, he's just farming attention. And now some fan is on a security camera somewhere holding a vegetable.

I get the hype, I really do. But showing up at a studio's office over a leaker's promise is a whole other level. Rockstar isn't going to drop Lucia videos because a guy with a leek shows up. They have a marketing schedule and they're sticking to it. The extended look is going to give us plenty to talk about without needing to chase some anonymous account.

Anyway, I'm just going to wait for the official stuff. No need to show up at their door with produce. Save the leeks for soup or whatever.
