rockstar reportedly told the gta 6 cast to stay quiet until launch

Dexerto has a piece up saying Rockstar emailed the GTA 6 cast to remind them their NDAs don't expire until the game actually drops. So anyone hoping for a big cast reveal before November 19 can probably forget it.
I know some folks were holding out for Rockstar to confirm who's playing Lucia and Jason in the next trailer or at some event. This report pretty much kills that. The talent is apparently under wraps right up to launch day, which means no official confirmation of the actors until after the game is out, if even then.
It's not shocking given how tight Rockstar has been this whole cycle. Two trailers and an extended look, and they still haven't put names to faces in any official capacity. The community has done its own detective work, obviously, but Rockstar hasn't said a word.
I get why they do it. Keeping the cast quiet avoids a million interview questions about story spoilers and keeps the focus on the game itself. But it also feels a little old school at this point. Most big releases have their lead actors doing press weeks before launch. Rockstar would rather let the game speak for itself.
Still, if the NDAs run through release day, that tells me they're not planning any last minute marketing push with the cast. No late night appearances, no red carpet thing, nothing. Just the game on November 19.
Honestly I'm fine with it. I don't need to know who's behind the characters before I play. If anything it makes the first playthrough feel cleaner. The less I know about the real people, the more Lucia and Jason stay Lucia and Jason.
