collector's edition might actually be happening after all the merch leaks

Dexerto's saying there's an official collector's edition floating around now, tied to some merch leaks. I was starting to think Rockstar would just do the standard and ultimate editions and call it a day, since that's all we've had since pre-orders went live back in June. A collector's edition would change that math pretty quick.

The wording in the article is vague, but it says the thing could be massive compared to other Rockstar releases. That's a big claim. GTA 5's collector's edition had the security deposit bag, a blueprint map, a cap, and the special ability boost. If they're going bigger than that for 6, I don't even want to guess what ends up in the box. Maybe something tied to the Vintage Vice City Pack they've been pushing as a pre-order bonus, or a physical map of Leonida. Who knows.

I'm not usually one for collector's editions, but Vice City is the one setting that could get me to drop extra cash. If it's got a decent statue or some kind of neon sign thing, I'm in trouble. My wallet is already crying from the $99.99 Ultimate Edition.

Anyway, I'll believe it when Rockstar actually posts something. Merch leaks have been all over the place lately, and half of them turn out to be placeholder listings or third party mockups. But if this one's real, November is going to be expensive.
