leaker says they won't stop until rockstar apologizes for anti-consumerism

Saw this on PC Gamer. Some person going by Cyberleek is apparently threatening to keep leaking GTA 6 stuff unless Rockstar and Take-Two apologize for being "anti-consumer" and make a "concrete commitment to do better."
I don't know what's more ridiculous, the demand or the idea that Rockstar would ever respond to something like this. Leakers usually just dump stuff for clout or money. This one has a whole manifesto with "three commandments" that they say everyone has to follow, not just Rockstar. Like they're some kind of digital vigilante.
The article doesn't go into what the commandments actually are, but the leaker is threatening to target anyone who violates them. So it's not just about Rockstar anymore. It's about controlling the whole GTA 6 info ecosystem or something. Good luck with that.
I get being frustrated with Take-Two. They've done plenty of anti-consumer stuff over the years. But this isn't how you get change. This is just another person trying to make themselves the center of attention right before the extended look drops on the 27th. Perfect timing, right? Get everyone talking about you instead of the actual game.
Rockstar isn't going to apologize. They're not going to make a "concrete commitment" because some random person on the internet demands it. They'll just keep doing what they do and maybe send a cease and desist if they can find the person. Which they probably can't, because leakers are usually careful.
Honestly, I'm more annoyed that this is taking up space in my feed when I could be reading about the extended look or speculating about the map. But I guess drama sells. Anyway, I'll be ignoring this Cyberleek person and just waiting for the official stuff. That's the only thing that matters.
