safehouses per chapter like rdr2 camps?

The stilt house in the Keys and that Vice City apartment got me thinking. We've only seen two safehouses so far, but what if there's one per chapter like RDR2's camps?

RDR2 moved the camp every chapter and it made each stretch feel different. A new base, new surroundings, new people hanging around. If GTA 6 does the same with safehouses, that could be huge for pacing. You'd get a fresh spot to stash cars and change clothes as the story moves through Leonida.

But Jason and Lucia are on the run. It'd be weird to just waltz back to an old safehouse after the heat's on. Maybe each chapter locks you out of previous ones until the story's done. That would keep the fugitive vibe intact.

I'd rather have them unlock after the credits so free roam doesn't feel empty. But if Rockstar wants to keep the pressure on during the story, locking them makes sense. Either way, I just hope there's more than two.

rdr2 camps moved because the gang was running out of road... jason and lucia running the same direction, just faster vehicles.

the stilt house keeps nagging at me though. a safehouse over water, no land connection, surrounded on all sides... that's not a home, that's a holding pattern. rockstar doesn't do accidental geography. whatever replaces it later probably tells us the shape of the whole story.
