caught a location match between the extended look and an old rockstar screenshot

Rewatched the Extended Look tonight and something finally clicked around the 19 minute mark. When the camera switches from Lucia to Jason, the building sitting dead center in that shot looked way too familiar.

It's the same one tucked into the corner of an old screenshot Rockstar put up on the Only in Leonida page. Took me a minute to line them up but the details match too well to be coincidence. Basketball and tennis courts in the bottom left, the row of seven blue sun shades, and the pool at the Hotel Valetta across the street all sit exactly where they should.

That's a lot of small stuff to get right if it was just reused assets. Rockstar doesn't usually frame something dead center during a character switch unless it matters.

My guess is this place becomes a safehouse or apartment later in the story. Maybe after Jason and Lucia get burned and need somewhere new to hole up. Could also be a mission hub we haven't seen yet. The fact they showed it in an older marketing screenshot and then again in the Extended Look makes me think it's got some role to play.

I'm leaning toward late game hideout for both of them. Rockstar likes planting landmarks early and paying them off later, and this one has too many matching details to ignore.

ok so i went and paused it at the same spot and yeah, the seven blue shades line up exactly, that's not nothing. but i'd pump the brakes on "dead center = plot important." rockstar frames pretty buildings center all the time just because they photograph well. safehouse is a decent guess, though i'm more into the idea it's just somewhere jason passes through during a chase. still, good catch.
