Rockstar's summer marketing campaign — are we getting anything in August or is it all gonna be a September rush?

I know this is getting pedantic but summer technically ends September 22nd astronomically, or August 31st meteorologically. Either way, we're running out of summer and Rockstar's been dead quiet since pre-orders opened. No trailer 3, no screenshots, nothing.

At this point it feels like a coin toss whether they drop something this month or cram everything into the last few weeks of September. I'm hoping for something before the earnings call, or at least the weekend after it. But honestly, with how things have gone, I'm bracing for another "GTA 6 is still on track for November, we promise" and then radio silence for the rest of August.

A real curveball would be if they hit us with another "Hi everyone," tweet out of nowhere. That'd be so on brand for them at this stage.

What do you guys think — are we actually getting anything this month or is it all gonna be a last-minute September dump?

38 days since pre-orders opened June 25. June, July, and now August. Trailer 2 arrived May 2025. That's a 17-month gap between trailers one and two.
