October marketing could be huge, imagine GTA 6 ads at Kaseya Center and Wynwood
I know the marketing so far has been pretty much nothing, but Strauss did say it'd be a shorter window and "astonishing" when it hits. I've been thinking about when that might actually start, and mid to late October makes a ton of sense.
The NBA season tips off around then, and the Miami Heat play at Kaseya Center. Rockstar could plaster GTA 6 all over those giant exterior screens and digital billboards right in the heart of downtown, with a massive live audience and TV viewers. That's the kind of real-world presence that gets people talking outside the usual gaming circles.
Then you've got South Beach and Ocean Drive, all those iconic art deco landmarks that are basically free real estate for a Vice City campaign. And Wynwood, the street art district, would be perfect for murals and collabs with local artists. Not just a billboard, but something that feels like it belongs there, generating organic buzz on social media.
I'm not saying it's a sure thing, but if Rockstar wants to make a splash before launch, tying into the Miami sports and art scene in October feels like a no-brainer. It'd be way more memorable than just dropping another trailer online.
What other Miami spots do you think they could use for some wild real-world advertising?

october blitz would be sick but im more worried how fast the RP servers will reverse engineer the new map. you get a flood of casuals rolling in after some wynwood mural goes viral and suddenly every whitelist is drowning in beachfront wannabes with zero backstory.
as for spots, little havana feels slept on. thats pure vice city energy, cigar shops and domino tables. rockstar could do something lowkey there that hits harder than a arena ad. real locals would actually care instead of just tourists taking selfies.
