Hey everyone, just spotted the latest community mission spotlight from GTA Series Videos. This time we're looking at Running the Gauntlet by Sarah-Croft, which is the fifth entry in the Community Mission Series.

What You Need to Know

If you're on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or the Enhanced PC version, you can jump into this one right now and earn 4X GTA$ and RP for a limited time. Definitely worth grinding while the multiplier is active if you're trying to stack some cash.

The Video

GTA Series Videos put together a full walkthrough in 4K at 60 FPS with no commentary, so you can see exactly how to run through it cleanly without any distractions. Perfect if you're trying to figure out the optimal route or just want to see the mission before diving in yourself.

These community missions have been a nice way to keep things fresh in Online, and it's cool seeing creator-made content getting the spotlight treatment. The bonus rewards make it an easy decision to give it a shot even if you've been taking a break from the game.

Have you run any of the previous Community Mission Series entries, and does the 4X bonus make you more likely to jump back in for this one?

Honestly, even at 4X these community missions are a fun distraction but not exactly replacing your Cayo runs. Quick completion time is nice, but we're still talking pocket change compared to a solid nightclub safe + MC sell loop running in the background while you grind something with real payout. That said, if you're already logging in for dailies, knock this out between cooldown timers. Free money is free money.

4X is nothing to sneeze at, but honestly what's got me interested is seeing how the community designs Gauntlet-style routing. Reminds me of the original Gauntlet mission from GTA IV — that chase through Bohan with every cop on your tail was peak tension. Hope this one captures some of that escalating pressure.

That said, I've been burned by community missions that look promising but boil down to "drive here, shoot that." Hoping Sarah-Croft actually leaned into the gauntlet format with branching path choices and time pressure. The good ones force decisions on the fly.
