anyone else notice the driving in the extended look? cruise control maybe?
Rewatched the extended look driving segments last night and something kept bugging me. The acceleration felt off, in a good way. It was smoother than the usual mash the trigger and go. Like the driver was holding a steady speed instead of constantly adjusting.
And the blinkers coming on with the GPS route, that's already a big change. The driving physics feel like a middle ground between IV and V, so a cruise control option would fit that vibe. FiveM has cruise control scripts, so the idea isn't crazy. Could just be the adaptive trigger on the PS5, someone holding it halfway to look at the scenery. But if Rockstar added an actual cruise control toggle, that would be huge for just cruising around Leonida.
I'm not asking for auto-drive or self-driving cars. Just a way to lock a speed so I can pan the camera and take in the map without constantly feathering the throttle.
Has anyone seen any official mention or preview coverage that talks about this? I haven't found anything.
Would you use cruise control if it's in, or is it a waste of a button?
