One of my biggest hopes for GTA 6: hidden encounters and mission chains that reward exploring

RDR2 had a bit of this, but I'm really hoping GTA 6 leans way harder into it. Side missions you stumble onto with zero handholding, that's the dream. The world design in GTA has always been fun to wander around, but most of the time there's nothing to actually find except collectibles. I want that to change.

Imagine missions buried inside properties, races, businesses, all the side stuff. You'd have to actually engage with the world to unlock them, not just drive to a letter on the map. And if some of those missions tied back into the main story? That would be incredible. It'd make everything feel earned.

Same goes for weapons and unique items. Not just a new gun skin, but stuff that changes how you play. Hidden in weird locations, locked behind activities. Give me a reason to check out that strange building or try that odd side activity. Right now exploration in GTA is mostly for screenshots and collectible checklists. I want meaningful rewards.

Rockstar's biggest and most expensive game ever, so I'm hoping they blur the lines between missions, activities, and just wandering around. The extended look on the 27th might show us what the gameplay loop actually looks like. Fingers crossed.

What kind of hidden content would make you actually go off the beaten path in Leonida?
