GTA 6 map: fully visible from the start or fog of war like V?

I was replaying GTA V recently and the blank map thing hit me again. It's weird that in 2013 Los Santos, nobody has a map app or even a paper map until you physically drive down a street. I get why they did it, gives you that sense of discovery, but it's always felt a little off to me.

GTA IV just gave you the whole Liberty City map from the jump. San Andreas had the map visible but with fog covering areas you hadn't been to yet, which was a nice middle ground. V went full blank slate and it never quite made sense in a modern setting.

For VI, I'm hoping they find a smarter way to handle it. Maybe the map is visible but points of interest, shops, side activities only pop up once you're close. Or they could do a GPS-style reveal where major roads and city outlines are there but the details fill in as you explore. With the scale of Leonida, having the whole state visible from the start might actually be helpful for planning routes without spoiling the sense of discovery.

I don't think they'll go full blank map again. It'd feel dated, especially with how connected the world is supposed to be. But I also don't want everything handed to me. Something in between would be perfect.
