angstipan showing up three times in the trailers feels way too intentional
Rewatched both trailers again last night and I can't shake the Angstipan thing. First time I noticed it I figured it was just background flavor, like every other fake brand Rockstar sprinkles around. But it keeps coming back. Three separate appearances that I've caught. That's not random set dressing anymore.
People have already floated the idea that Jason is on it, which would explain why it's tied to him specifically. That's the obvious read. But I keep thinking the marketing has been leaning on this "criminal conspiracy" phrase for a while now, and what if Angstipan is the thread connecting that to Jason and Lucia's story?
Hear me out. If Angstipan has some effect that makes it valuable on the street, it stops being just a prescription drug. It becomes product. Someone figures out they can move it, or steal it, or cook something with it, and suddenly Lucia and Jason are in the middle of something way bigger than a couple of small time jobs. That would explain why the name is getting this much attention in promotional material. You don't highlight a fake medication that many times unless it's doing narrative work.
Could also be a red herring. Rockstar loves burying stuff in plain sight and then watching the community spiral. But the placement feels deliberate in a way that random brands don't. Most fictional products in GTA exist to make the world feel lived in. Angstipan feels like it's being pointed at.
Not saying I've cracked anything. Just feels like there's more under the surface with this one. If it ends up being the thing that kicks off the whole conspiracy angle, I won't be surprised at all.
