What if GTA 6 remembers your robbery patterns and sets up undercover sting ops?
I was replaying the Acid Lab sell missions in Online and it got me thinking. Sometimes when you're delivering to a buyer, the whole thing turns out to be a police bust. The game doesn't warn you, it just flips the script and suddenly you're surrounded. It's a small thing but it adds so much tension.
What if GTA 6 takes that idea and runs with it for the open world? Imagine you keep hitting the same diner or convenience store over and over. The game tracks your pattern. After a few repeats, the next time you walk in everything looks normal, but the "customers" and "staff" are actually undercover cops waiting for you to pull your gun. No mission marker, no heads-up. Just a trap you walked into because you got predictable.
Rockstar's already said they want the world to feel more alive and reactive. This would be a perfect way to make crime feel less like a menu option and more like something the world pushes back against. Maybe it's not just diners either. Could apply to armored trucks, drug deals, even car theft if you keep boosting the same model from the same area.
I'm not expecting some crazy complex AI or anything, but even a simple flag that triggers after X robberies at the same location would be enough. The surprise alone would make every hold-up feel a little riskier. And if you manage to fight your way out, maybe that location stays on high alert for a while, or the cops start patrolling nearby more often.
GTA V's world was pretty static once you learned the patterns. If VI can break that and keep you guessing, it'll be huge for immersion. The Acid Lab missions already proved Rockstar can pull off these kinds of dynamic betrayals. I'd love to see them bake that into the core gameplay loop.

One sting costs half a Cayo cooldown. At $1M an hour that's $500K in lost profit for a $900 take.
