spontaneous world events in the extended look, anyone else catch that recovery truck?

I've watched the extended look way too many times at this point, and I keep noticing new little details. This time it was a road traffic incident. There's a recovery vehicle and a line of cars backing up behind it, like an accident or a breakdown. Nothing to do with Lucia or Jason, just background stuff happening on its own.

That got me thinking about how alive the world might actually feel. We all know Rockstar is going for something unprecedented with Leonida, but what if the map is full of random events that have zero connection to the main story? NPCs getting into fender benders, police chases that start without you, shootings, thefts, fights breaking out. Just unscripted chaos that makes the city feel real.

The part that really stuck with me is the idea of being vigilant around other NPCs. Like if you're cruising through a rough part of Vice City in a flashy sports car, maybe someone tries to jack it. Or you park somewhere sketchy and come back to find your ride gone. That kind of persistent threat would change how you move through the world. You wouldn't just be the only troublemaker anymore.

I know some of this existed in GTA V and Red Dead 2 in limited ways, random events that pop up on the map. But the thought of it being seamless and constant, no marker telling you something's happening, just you noticing a tow truck and a line of traffic from a distance. That's the dream. It makes the world feel like it doesn't revolve around you, which is exactly what I want from GTA 6.

Anyway, I'm probably reading too much into a single frame. But if Rockstar is putting that level of incidental detail into a trailer, I have a feeling the full game is going to be ridiculous.

Trailers are staged. That tow truck might be a dressed set piece, same as the traffic jams in the GTA V trailers that never actually happened in game.

I'd love seamless ambient chaos, but Rockstar's random events have always been triggered encounters with a radius. Expect that again, just prettier. Prove me wrong, Rockstar.
